Why sapele?

From the mahogany family, sapele delivers that deep, lustrous look at a sensible price — which is why it's the go-to for exterior doors, window repairs and heritage joinery where original mahogany needs matching. It's hard, stable and naturally durable enough for outdoor use, and its interlocking grain produces the distinctive shimmer that makes quarter-sawn sapele so sought after for furniture and instruments.

What we supply

Prime-grade, kiln-dried sapele, supplied planed all round (PAR) to your finished sizes — machined to around ±0.5mm on spiral cutter blocks. Interlocked grain is exactly where our spiral blocks earn their keep: a clean finish where conventional blades tear out.
