Why oak?
Oak is the quintessential British hardwood: strong, hard-wearing and full of character, with warm golden tones and that unmistakable open grain and ray figure. It's the first choice for furniture, kitchens, flooring, staircases and heritage joinery because it simply lasts — properly looked after, an oak piece outlives the person who made it.
