Why larch?

Larch is the outdoor workhorse: a resinous, dense softwood with Class 3 natural durability, which means it shrugs off British weather untreated — no staining schedule, no rot worries. Left alone it silvers handsomely; oiled, it keeps its warm tone. Its characterful grain and sound knots give cladding and garden structures a look that bland treated softwood can't match.

What we supply

Kiln-dried larch, supplied planed all round (PAR) to your finished sizes — machined to around ±0.5mm on spiral cutter blocks in our Poole workshop.
