Why walnut?

Black walnut is the luxury choice. Its rich, dark heartwood needs no stain — just an oil or lacquer to bring out colour most timbers can only imitate. It machines cleanly, carves and turns superbly, and pairs beautifully with pale woods like ash or maple for contrast work. For furniture, box-making, guitars and heirloom pieces, nothing else quite has its presence.

What we supply

Prime-grade, kiln-dried American black walnut, supplied planed all round (PAR) to your finished sizes — machined on spiral cutter blocks in our Poole workshop to around ±0.5mm, with the clean, tear-out-free surface walnut deserves.
