Why beech?
Beech is one of the most workable hardwoods there is: it cuts cleanly, glues superbly and takes a fine, smooth finish. Its pale pink-brown tone and subtle flecked grain give a clean, uniform look that suits contemporary furniture, and its density makes it the traditional choice for chopping boards, worktops, toys and anything that gets handled daily. Tough, dependable and great value.
What we supply
Prime-grade, kiln-dried European beech, supplied planed all round (PAR) to your finished sizes — machined to around ±0.5mm on spiral cutter blocks in our Poole workshop.
